Frequently Asked Questions
How many photos can we expect with our wedding package?
Every wedding is different but it is important to note that we do not cap the amount of images you receive from your big day. For a typical 8 hour wedding day, we provide you with 700+ of the best images on your own USB with no watermark so that you can share however you wish.
Can we purchase additional hours?
Although we have created our most popular packages, sometimes they don't fit perfectly with your big day. We can certainly amend the existing packages to suit you and your wedding with the ability to add on additional hours at an hourly rate.
Who makes up the team at Pettitt Photography?
There is two of us here at Pettitt Photography- Lucy, the photographer and James, the videographer. We work seamlessly together to ensure all aspects of your big day are covered.
How long do we need to wait for our images and videos?
We are currently working to a turnaround of approximately one month to provide you with your USBs. However, we will share with you and to our social media, where you have consented, a 'sneak peek' of your wedding the very next day for you to share with your family and friends.
Do you provide prints and albums with your packages?
Unfortunately, we do not currently provide prints or albums as part of our packages. All images provided are ready to print and are not watermarked so you are able to create your own albums, we would be happy to recommend where to do this should you need some help.
What payment is required and when?
A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking with the remainder of your balance due one month before the big day.
How far are you willing you travel?
Being based in Surrey gives us very easy links to the majority of the South East of England. We are happy to travel further afield for your wedding so please don't let that stop you from getting in touch for a quote.
What should we wear for our pre-wedding photoshoot?
A few tips for what to wear for your pre-wedding photoshoot:
- Your comfort is a priority so don't wear anything that will make you feel restricted or uncomfortable.
- Be you! Go with your style and you won't go wrong. You want to look back on these photos and not think that you looked like you were impersonating someone else.
- Try and avoid something overly trendy or in style for a limited time, again, you want to look back on these photos and think that they're timeless and not just cool for 2021.
- The biggest bit of advice we would give is to coordinate with each other. Saying that doesn't that you both have to wear matching denim jackets but find your theme and go with it. If one of you wants to dress in a 3 piece tux, roll with it and both of you go all out as opposed to one of you being dressed for the Ritz and the other for a picnic!
How do you store our images?
