Lucy was absolutely incredible as our wedding photographer. As a neurodiverse bride I found the getting ready part overwhelming, but she kept everything calm, organised and even gave me time out when I needed it, she even helped me into my shoes! My family commented all day on how lovely she was while she seamlessly captured every key moment and all the little details too.
The pre-wedding session really helped my (camera shy) husband feel at ease, and it shows in the photos. The sneak peeks we’ve seen so far are stunning, a perfect mix of natural candid shots and beautifully composed portraits with gorgeous light and colour. I rarely like photos of myself but even I think they’re beautiful.
If you’re considering Pettitt Photography, you’ll not only get incredible images you’ll treasure forever but also a friendly, supportive professional who makes the whole experience stress free. We couldn’t recommend Lucy enough.

What can I say - words cannot do justice to how amazing Lucy and James were on our special day! From helping me get ready (literally doing my dress up!) to just making us feel so comfortable and actually having a real laugh with us all day! The pre-wedding shoot was invaluable and helped make everything run even smoother on the day. No request was too big for these two, honestly we can’t imagine our day without them there too!

Honestly 5 stars isn’t enough! Lucy at Pettitt photography joined us on our wedding day in October 2024 to capture some special memories that we will never forget!
She was amazing from start to finish! She’s very polite and friendly, she is happy to answer any questions you may have and she asked us what photos that were important to us for the wedding day, and she got some fabulous photos, loved seeing the photos of things we may have missed while enjoying our day!
We also enjoyed a pre-wedding photo shoot, which I 100% recommend, it’s great to meet your photographer before the wedding as you practically spend all day with them, and you understand how they work and vice versa, she allowed us to bring our son too which was lovely, he enjoyed it and we got some lovely family photos!
Lucy went above and beyond on the day of the wedding, everything felt like it went so smoothly and wasn’t pressured to get photos, she let us chat to family and friends while capturing natural shots, and then spent some time with us to get those couple shots and involving our son too (he was a bit overwhelmed on the day so she was very understanding about this)
We had so many lovely comments from our guests about Lucy, and she was so good with the kids too, one little girl in particular absolutely loved her, and Lucy even let her help capture some photos which made this little girls day! 🥰
Overall we would 100% recommend Pettitt photography to anyone! Absolutely had the best day and got some lovely photos to remember our big day forever!

What a great day and made all the more special by the photos Lucy took. A friend who did not join us that day has seen them and said how amazing they were, so natural and just looking at them she felt she was there!
We never felt that the photography was at all intrusive and we had great fun staging the usual family shots together with the more romantic numbers of just the two of us. Thanks Lucy - great work!

We got married on the 16th May 2024 at Old Thorns Hotel & Resort. We came across Pettitt Photography firstly when our son was born in 2022 for his new born shoot. We felt an instant connection with Lucy straight away with alot of laughter and of course incredible photos. It was a no brainer at this time that we would be asking Pettitt Photography to capture our wedding day.
They provided us many different options with all sorts of packages in order for us to get the best out of our wedding day. Once we picked our package we booked in our engagement shoot with was part of our deal. The date we originally chose for our engagement shoot ended up being a miserable wet day and Lucy was more than happy for us to re-arrange this last minute. Luckily the following date we decided on ended up being a beautiful day and Lucy was able to capture some magical photos of us and our 10 month old son in the incredible setting of Hawley Lake.
Then came the special day, with back and fourth conversations and messages with Pettitt Photography leading up to the day we were all ready and prepared. As soon as both Lucy and James arrived it felt as if we'd known them both years and they were just family coming to the wedding. They made the day run so smoothly and assisted in the minor but special things to us such as helping get into the dress and sorting it ready for photos, coordinating many group photos and filling us with confidence in every photo taken. The fun and laughter from the minute Lucy & James arrived to the moment they left was unforgettable and has left us with so many memories to treasure.
There really isn't much more to say, other than if your looking for a photographer/videographer that want you to have your hopes and dreams come true, then look no further than Pettitt Photography. We have been and will continue to always recommend Pettitt Photography for anyone needing a newborn, lifestyle or wedding photoshoot. Our photos and videos are absolutely flawless and we cannot wait to spend many many years ahead showing them off.

We had the pleasure of employing Lucy as our wedding Photographer and also videography. We were taken along to a pre wedding session as part of our package which helped us feel comfortable behind the camera. Lucy ensured that we had all the right information in regards to what pictures we wanted and when was best to take them. This was all conducted by Lucy with her own forms and also phone calls to double check we hadn’t missed anything. When our wedding day arrived we had all our stress and pressure taken off by Lucy and James. They guided myself and my partner throughout the day and made sure every little moment was captured but at the same time they blended into the background along with our other guests.
